Congrats to August Deer!

August Deer, who has been a high-school research volunteer in our lab (as well as an AEOP award recipient through US-army) has become a finalist of the nationwide 2023 Regeneron Science Talent Search for his work on “Multi-Round Privacy in Federated Learning”. This is the nation’s oldest and most prestigious science and math competition for high school seniors. August also published this work at the 2022 IEEE Asilomar conference. Many congratulations, August!
